The Chrysler 300 is a large, bold sedan that continues to impress while other full-size sedans disappear from showroom floors. You can choose from two different engines, each with more than enough power, and sit in a spacious and comfortable cabin while you ride. For the 2021 model, Chrysler removed the 300C trim from the lineup, added some new standard equipment to the remaining models, and made the S Appearance Package standard for the 300S. Take a look at some reasons to drive the 2021 Chrysler 300.

The Power

There are two engines for the 300, and both have impressive power. The standard engine for this Chrysler is a 3.6-liter V-6 with 292 horsepower that works with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The S model with the same engine increases output to 300 horsepower and gets 264 pound-feet of torque. The 2021 300S offers the option for a 5.7-liter V-8 gas engine that puts out 363 horsepower and gets 394 pound-feet of torque. Both engines and all trims come with rear-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive optional for the Touring and Touring L.

The Exterior Look

The 300’s bold exterior look features a wide stance and sporty styling elements. The Touring has 17-inch alloy wheels, heated side exterior mirrors, and automatic headlights, and the Touring L adds 18-inch alloy wheels, an auto-dimming driver’s side exterior mirror, and LED fog lights. The 300S is even sportier with 20-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, and black-painted exterior trim elements.

Chrysler offers the S Appearance Package for the Touring, which adds black trim and 20-inch alloy wheels, and there’s also a Driver Convenience Package with LED fog lights.

The Technology Features

You can enjoy the ride in the Chrysler 300 with all the tech features that come standard, or you can add them as options. It comes with an 8.4-inch touch screen, a six-speaker stereo system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, and satellite radio. The Popular Equipment Group for the Touring L adds navigation and a nine-speaker Alpine stereo.

The Cabin Features

There’s room for five in the 300, and everyone sits on cloth upholstery in the base Touring trim. This base trim also comes with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. A step up to the Touring L adds Nappa leather upholstery and heated front seats, along with a power-adjustable front passenger seat. The 300S with the Comfort Group Package has ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and it adds driver’s seat memory settings.

The Safety Features

Every 300 comes with a rearview camera, a full suite of air bags, and traction and stability control. The Touring L adds a blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert, and it comes with front and rear parking sensors. Adding the SafetyTech Plus Group to the Touring L or 300S gets you forward collision warning with mitigation, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.

The Chrysler 300 has plenty of power, a spacious cabin, and it offers all the tech and safety equipment you need for any drive.
