The 2023 Jeep Compass is Jeep’s latest entry into the crossover SUV market. With its compact size and luxurious features and rugged design that Jeep is known for, the Compass is ideal for city, suburban, and off-road driving. Keep reading to learn more about the various trim levels and which one is the best fit for your lifestyle.

Sport

The Sport offers a wide range of standard features that make driving both safer and more comfortable, including automatic headlights, heated sideview mirrors, tinted rear privacy glass, AWD with a terrain select feature, and USB charging ports in both the front and the back. The center console is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and integrated voice commands.

The Sport also comes standard with a variety of safety features designed to reduce the chance of a collision. These include pedestrian and cyclist detection features, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning tones, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Latitude

The Latitude takes the features of the Sport and adds ambient lighting, leather wraps for the steering wheel and shift knob, and a proximity key fob that allows you to simply touch the door handle to enter your car.

New options available on the Latitude include a sunroom, adaptive cruise control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a 360-degree view camera, heated front seats and steering wheel, and a motion-activated power liftgate.

Latitude LUX

The Latitude LUX brings many of the options from the Latitude as standard, including the heated steering wheel, front seats, and remote start. It also adds genuine leather upholstery, automatic high beams, and unique 18-inch wheels.

Limited

The Limited trim contains most of the Latitude’s optional features as standard and also comes with adaptive cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear parking sensors and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Optional upgrades include parallel parking assist, navigation integration with the infotainment system, a dual-pane sunroof, front and rear parking sensors, and various interior and exterior aesthetic choices, including various shades of leather upholstery and unique exterior badging.

Trailhawk

The Trailhawk is designed to allow the Compass to go off-roading and comes with an advanced 4WD system, hill descent control, a special off-road suspension, off-road, all-season tires on 17-inch wheels, tow hooks, and a skid plate to protect the underbelly of the vehicle.

The Trailhawk also comes with some minor changes to the bodywork to give a better approach angle and higher clearance to the wheel wells.
